When: Tuesday, February 28, 2017 6:00 p.m.
Where: Rogue River Tavern (4 N Main St Rockford)
Conservation and sustainability are key concepts for today’s agricultural producers and forest land owners. They are putting good stewardship practices into action by earning verification from the Michigan Agriculture Environmental Assurance Program (MAEAP). Established in 1999, MAEAP is a voluntary partnership effort among farmers, government agencies, and conservation groups focused on the protection of natural resources and positive community and neighbor relations. Have you heard of MAEAP?
Come learn about how it works to protect our lands and how you can be involved in educating land owners about this free program. Sustained interest and commitment to this unique Michigan program will keep our waters cleaner.
Attend this fun and engaging information session Tuesday, February 28th at the Rogue River Tavern presented by Kent Conservation District. Learn how land owners are voluntarily joining this program and making a big difference in their watersheds.
