The Kent County MI Department of Public Works regularly offers household hazardous waste collection through SafeChem program’s regular hours and locations however we’re happy to offer 3 Saturday SafeChem Collection events in 2020:

**Saturday May 9, 2020 from 8:00am-12:00pm at the North Kent Transfer Station (2908 Ten Mile NE Rockford, MI 49341)

**Saturday October 17, 2020 from 8:00am-12:00pm at the Department of Public Works Administrative Offices (1500 Scribner NW Grand Rapids, MI 49504)

This event is available and FREE for all Kent County residents – we cannot accept waste generated at businesses or schools due to EGLE/MDEQ manifesting and shipping requirements.
