Grab your trowel and gloves and come help LGROW with the spring maintenance of one of our green infrastructure installations. The bioswale and rain garden installed at Kent Intermediate School District funnel stormwater runoff from the road and parking lots to filter out pollutants and absorb stormwater before it has a chance to enter into Lamberton Creek, a tributary to the Grand River. This garden was constructed in 2020 through a grant from the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative.
