Invasive Species Management Course - Evaluating the Land Part 1- Surveying and Mapping Invasive Species

Join the BCK CISMA for this engaging course to equip you with the tools and knowledge you need to take back your land from invasive plant species. Participants will learn the necessary steps for strategic management, from identification and surveying to site restoration. Sessions will feature guest speakers from various aspects of invasive species management. The course culminates with a customized invasive species management plan specific to your property and goals.

 Participants will need a computer with internet access, either in the home or at a reliable public facility. Portable computers or smart devices are not required but are welcome in class.

When: Thursday evenings, 6-8pm from September 14th-October 19th
Audience: Any landowner or land manager who wants or needs to learn how to manage invasive species.
Course Fee: $100 for Sanctuary Members, $120 for Non-Members
Registration: Space is limited to 45 maximum and 10 minimum participants.
