  • Boy Scouts of America 3213 Walker Avenue Northwest Walker, MI, 49544 United States (map)

Please join us for the Friends of Indian Mill Creek Watershed meeting to learn more about how you can help to restore the Creek to the healthy coldwater trout stream it once was. A few short presentations will provide updates on some of the activities that the watershed partners are working on and explain more about how you can be a part of Indian Mill Creek's recovery. The will be meeting February 6, 2018 from 4pm until 5:30pm at the Boy Scouts of America in Walker. There will be light refreshments offered.

In this meeting we will discuss the 2018 creek clean up schedule and locations, water quality status and concerns, and the pilot LGROW Rainscaping Program. For this program, LGROW is looking for two demonstration sites to install residential green infrastructure in the Indian Mill Creek Watershed. Residential green infrastructure practices can filter as well as greatly reduce the overall amount of stormwater runoff going into storm drains. Click the logo below to learn more.
