First Coldbrook Creek Watershed Group Meeting

Parking available just east of Albertus Hall at the Performing Arts Center Parking Lot.

Do you know what watershed you live in (a watershed is defined as all the land that drains to the same surface water)?  More than half of Eastown lies within the Coldbrook Creek watershed!  You may know Coldbrook Creek as the small stream that runs through Aquinas beside Wilcox Park.  The water that soaks into your yard or runs down your street into a storm drain eventually ends up in the Grand River but may get there indirectly through another surface water...such as Coldbrook Creek!

In an effort to protect our water a new group has formed to help manage the water that drains into Coldbrook Creek.  If you are interested in learning more about the watershed you live in and how it is affected by the water flowing through your yard and community, please join us for the first quarterly Coldbrook Creek watershed organizational meeting.   It will take place on Monday, February 11th, from 6:30 to 8:00 at Aquinas College, room 111 in Albertus Hall (the building being worked on off Robinson Road).  Parking is available at the Performing Arts Center lot just east of Albertus Hall. We hope to see you there!  Bring a friend!
