Movement on Grand River Restoration!

On January 20th The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) posted a Notice of a Finding of No Significant Impact for the Watershed Project Plan for the Lower Grand River Habitat Restoration Project Lower Grand River Watershed in Kent County, Michigan.

As indicated in the environmental assessment, this project will not cause significant local, regional, or national impacts on the environment. This finding puts The City of Grand Rapids and Grand Rapids Whitewater one step closer to breaking ground on this project.
