Lend your hand at the West Catholic High School Rain Garden during this maintenance day, where we will weed and tidy up a native plant garden!
Grab your trowel and gloves and come help LGROW with the spring maintenance of one of our green infrastructure installations. This 600 square foot rain garden installed at West Catholic High School, funnels stormwater runoff from the adjacent parking lot and driveway to filter out pollutants and absorb stormwater before it has a chance to enter into Indian Mill Creek. This garden was constructed in 2016 through a grant from the National Fish and Wildlife Federation 5 Star and Urban Waters Grant. To learn more about this project, visit www.LGROW.org/rainscaping
